Recently, I tried a Creative Inspirations Stretched Canvas. I discovered that I was using both a brand new disposable glove and a paint pouring tool I had never used before. So, not just one product review, but three.
Creative Inspirations Stretched Canvas
The shipment was inspected and the pack of canvas were intact, no areas damaged. The tear in the picture is from me opening it before I realized I forgot to take a picture.
The corners of three out of the pack of five canvas have a sloppy corner. These probably went through a machine stretching and stapling, and straight through to packaging. If I were to use this to make a piece for sale, I would remove the staple and lightly dampen the corner. Then, restretch the corner and fold it over.
On another canvas I found an area of loose canvas on the side, which I was able to spray with a little water and use a blow dryer to tighten it up. The base of all five canvas was a bit loose. I sprayed water on it and let it dry.

For reference, I wear a medium in a women’s sport glove or dress glove. After a few paintings, me wiping them down and a few more pictures, you can see how the air has collapsed. You can also see how much larger the large is compared to a medium. In reality Im sure these were created with mens hands in mind.
After using the gloves for five pours, never having to change them, just simply wiping off any paint, I was very impressed. There was no slippage, no tearing, or leakage of paint through tiny pinholes. I could have easily rinsed the gloves off and let them air dry before reusing them for another day.
The poor little pour-yikes! I will admit here I used a fourth new item in this painting, a plastic sink strainer to pour through. Not showing it here, as I tossed it before I took a pic-the holes were not large enough for the paint to flow through without muddying things up. It is important to verify the dimensions of any online order, especially if it comes from overseas.
This was an awful pour and Creative Inspirations canvas, although pre-primed, didn’t cover the sides well. Only a few areas of the canvas were visible under the black paint. These areas weren’t the edges but the sides. I tried again with black paint on the sides, and it worked great.

Adding the extra coat to the sides was the least of my problems with this pour. I had already swiped a few areas but it was still boring as I hadnt added any silicone or white to create cells. I actually thought about scrapping the canvas and starting over. Instead I wondered how I could add a few well placed dots in selected areas on the fresh pour.
I knew in a dried format, using the dot tool gave me wonderful uniform dots; but what would it do dropping or placing the dots into wet paint.
I began with black, and then added different sizes of dots to the edges. Then, I moved on to the yellow dots.
Of course like any product introduced into the wet paint, the dots will spread. Different brands and consistencies will react in a variety of ways. Here you can see the black, which had one drop of silicone and thinned with Floetrol and water, made larger non-uniform shapes, pure black and no fading of colors. The yellow dots were made from pure paint straight out of a bottle. They did not need to be mixed with silicone or medium and quickly spread to form diluted circles. Each paint brand will react differently to drops being placed independently.

Das matte Finish wurde auf das Projekt angewendet. Ich habe mich für dieses Bild aufgrund seiner inspirierenden Farbpalette auf meiner Veranda entschieden.
Alle drei Produkte waren ausgezeichnet und die Investition wert. Vor der Verwendung der Leinwand musste sie besprüht, luftgetrocknet und mindestens eine zweite Schicht schwarzer Farbe aufgetragen werden. Auf den anderen Bereichen, die mehr als eine Farbe hatten, gab es kein Durchschlagen. Möglicherweise müssen Sie nur dann eine zweite Schicht auftragen, wenn Sie Negativraum verwenden. Diese Produkte eignen sich alle gut zum Ausgießen von Farbe. Dies beweist, dass Sie nicht viel ausgeben müssen, um hochwertige Werkzeuge und Produkte für schöne Gießprojekte zu erhalten.
